Graveside services for Louis Oscar Bekkemellom, 85, of 7776 Highland Drive, who died at home April 13, 1976, after a long illness, will be Friday, 1:00 p.m., at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 South Redwood Road. Friends may call Thursday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and Friday, one hour prior to services. Family suggests contributins to the Union Twelfth LDS Ward Mission Fund. Burial, Redwood Memorial Estates.
Born November 14, 1890, Toronto, South Dakota, to Ole Kristiansen and Syverine Johansen Saguston Bekkemellom. Married May Etta Hansen, August 8, 1939 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Farmer.
Survivors include wife; sons and daughters: Barney B., Corom C., Morentha Geer, all of Salt Lake; Amaron A. of Ogden; Lois McAbee of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Helen Absher of Las Cruses, New Mexico; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Thelema Dodine, San Leandro, California.
