Services for Mrs. Marvin (Betty Lou) May, 58, will be 2:P.M. Monday in the chapel of the Henniger-Allen Funeral Home with the Rev. Lewis Corporon and Dr. Robin L. Welch, of Beatrice, Neb., officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. May died Thursday at a local hospital after a period of ill health. She was born Oct. 31, 1927, in Ames to Forrest and Helen Miller. She attended school in the Ardmore area and graduated from Ames High School in 1945. She then moved to Enid where she worked for F. W. Woolworth and Co. She married C. Marvin May July 19, 1947, in Ardmore. They made their home in Enid except for three years they lived in Norman. She worked for the American Optical Co. until ill health forced her retirement. She was a member of the Central Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Marvin, of the home; a son, Doug, Enid; a daughter Mrs. Gerald (Micki) Mitchell of Edwardsville, ILL,; her mother, Helen Farve, Enid; two brothers, Delane Miller, Hope, Ark., and Paul Farve, Enid; two sisters Mrs. Chris (Wilma) Strum, Kent, Wash., and Mrs. Barbara Anderson, Lakewood, Colo., and three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association through the funeral home.
