Theodocia Rich Funeral Service Held Wednesday

Vernal Fith Ward was the setting for funeral services Wednesday honroing Theodocia Clark Rich. 87, of Vernal who died Sunday at 5:35 a.m. at her home of natural causes.

Mrs. Rich was born June 13 1882 in Logan to John E. and Theodocia Hatch Clark. She married Charles C. Rich III January 1 1898 in Vernal. The marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died February 9 1954.

She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and had been a Relief Society visiting teacher for over 45 years.

SURVIVORS include her sons, Jeremiah, Lapoint; Arbun, Seattle; Arthur, Wellington; Thorald and Kenneth, both of Vernal; step-daughters, Sarah Jebbens, Pleasant Grove and Essie Glines, Mesa, Arizona; 36 grandchildren; 76 great-grandchildren; four Great-great-grandchildren; Brothers, Alva Clark, Wellington and David Clark, Gusher.

Burial was in the vernal Memorial Park Cemetery.
