Carolyn Biesecker, 82, of Falls City, NE, passed away December 15, 2009 at Falls City. She was born February 26, 1927 at Barada, NE to the late Vernon J. and Lucile (Koso) Wagner.
In 1951 she married Lee Lempka at Lincoln, NE and they were later divorced. She married Edwin E. Biesecker on June 17, 1973 at Falls City. He passed away August 29, 2001.
Carolyn was raised in Falls City and graduated from Falls City High School in 1945. Following graduation she worked at Hested's Store. When she married Mr. Lempka they established their home in Lincoln and she worked for Russell Stover Candy. While living in Lincoln in the 1970's she painted several murals in some of the Lincoln banks. When married to Mr. Biesecker they made their home in Fremont, NE and the couple returned to Falls City in 1993 to make their home and she has lived here since. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Falls City, and a member of T.O.P.S.
Carolyn is survived by a son, Steven Lempka and his wife Maggie of Fremont, step-son, Allen Biesecker and his wife Leanne of Fremont, step-daughter, Marlene Bailey and her husband Ray of Gladewater, TX, sister, June Bindle and her husband Lloyd of Falls City. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edwin Biesecker, daughter Linda Trumble, brother, Robert Wagner; sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Zimmerman and Loma Martin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Marvin Neubauer officiating. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery.
Open visitation will begin on Wednesday afternoon.
