Shirley Mae, the daughter of Harry & Gurena (Smette) Herbeck, was born August 26, 1927 at Buxton, ND.
She grew up there and graduated from Buxton High School. Shirley graduated from Mayville State Teachers College with a teaching certificate. She graduated from Aaker's Business College in Grand Forks, ND in 1947.
She was employed by the First National Bank in Grand Forks and later with Social Services in Grand Forks.
Shirley married Joseph H. Pulskamp at St. Mary's Cathedral in Grand Forks on July 7, 1952.
The couple moved to a farm near Cummings, ND, where they have lived since.
She is survived by her husband, four daughters, one son, a brother, a sister, thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three infant children, her parents, one brother, one sister, a grandson and great-grandson.
Funeral Mass: Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Hillsboro, ND
Visitation: Tuesday, 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at St. Rose of Lima followed by a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. in the church.
Burial: St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Hillsboro, ND
