Irene, age 83, died at Sunrise Hill Care Center in Traer after an extended illness. She the daughter of John and Caroline (Hrstka) Posusta. She graduated from Elberon (IA) High School in 1940. She married Aage Sivertsen on August 29, 1940, in Waterloo, Iowa. After his death, she married an unknown Burton, then Gene Weber, then Troy Wheeler. She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands, and her siblings, Paulene, Larry, and Alvin. She is survived by her son, Chad, her siblings, Virgil, Maxine, Peggy, and Donna, one grandson, and one great-grandchild. Services were held at Overton Funeral Home in Traer. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
