MRS. JOE MATTINGLY, 50, DIES AT BLOOMFIELD AFTER LONG ILLNESS - MRS. ELLA CURTSINGER MATTINGLY, 50, wife of Joe Mattingly, died Thursday, January 15, at her home at Bloomfield, after a lingering illness. Besides her husband, she is survived by eight children, Dan, Hays, Raymond and J. Paul Mattingly, Mrs. Marion Thomas, Misses Margaret, Hallie and Delcie Mattingly, all of Bloomfield. Funeral services were held at the Bloomfield Baptist Church Friday, January 16, at 1 P.M., Rev. George Childress officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Marshall Curtsinger, Randall Mattingly, Russell Lewis, Theodore Mattingly, John D. Gordon and Albert Mattingly. Buried, 1-16-1948, in the old Bloomfield Cemetery, which is next to the Maple Grove Cemetery, Bloomfield, Ky.; Section DE, Row 6.
