Annie Funk, wife of Edward H Funk of the town of Gallatin, died at her home Sunday morning at 3, after a long illness. Mrs Funk was born in the town of Milan March 17, 1874, a daughter of Isaac Kilmer and Mary Sigler Kilmer. She was married twice, her first husband having been Harry Myers of Gallatin. He died a little over thirty years ago.
Mrs Funk leaves her husband; also two sons by her first husband, Albert Myers of Poughkeepsie and Harry Myers of Gallatin. She leaves three sons by her second husband, Lester, Floyd and Ellwood Funk and a daughter, Miss Ruth Funk, all of whom live in Gallatin; two brothers, Jay and Ransler Kilmer of the town of Mian; three sisters, Mrs Harmon Shook and Mrs Frank Roraback of the town of Milan and Mrs Ransom Schryver of Rock City, besides grandchildren and others more distant relatives.
Prayers were said at the Funk home yesterday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock and funeral services were conducted at the church of the Regeneration, Pine Plains, by Rev G F Langdon, rector. Interment was in Evergreen cemetery, Pine Plains, in charge of Frank S Roberts and sons.
Mrs Funk was a pleasant, kindly woman, hard-working and unsparing of herself. Much sympathy is extended to the bereaved relatives.
