F. M. LOYD DEAD
F. M. Loyd, aged 63, died this morning at 5:30 o'clock, at his home in Kendricktown after an illness of two years of cancer. He had been bedfast for the past two months.
The deceased was a native Missourian and settled in Carthage in 1863. Besides a wife he leaves eight children; Mrs. Maggie Duncan, of near Columbia, who will not be able to get here in time to attend the funeral; Samuel, Richard, Charles and Robert Loyd; Mrs. Joseph Miller, Mrs. Mat Cherry and Earl Loyd, all of whom reside in Carthage.
The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the family home and will be conducted by Rev. L. L. Johnson, of the Methodist church, South. The interment will be in Park Cemetery.
