Aaron (Bat) Marcus Atchley, 91, of Sevierville passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Fort Sanders Sevier Medical Center.
During WWII Bat served his country by enlisting in the army and fighting overseas for our freedom.
After the war, he returned to his native Sevier County where he farmed and attended Middle Creek Methodist Church.
Preceding Bat in death is his wife, Iva Matthews Atchley; parents, Pink and Lula Wear Atchley; brother, John W. Atchley; sister, Jane Elizabeth Lawson.
