DR. M. FRANK BARTON JR., 70, of Germantown, professor at the University of Memphis, died Monday at Baptist Memorial Hospital after a heart attack. Services will be at noon Thursday at Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. He was a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran, and a member of the Economics Club of Memphis and the East Memphis Republican Party. Mr. Barton, the husband of Midge Barton, also leaves a daughter, Annabelle Barton of Frankfort, Germany; three sons, Robert F. Barton, Mark T. Barton and Bruce E. Barton, all of Memphis; a sister, Mary Glidewell of Hobart, Ill., and seven grandchildren. (Published in The Commercial Appeal 10/3/1995)
