DALLAS BEATY
West Peoria -- Dallas W. Beaty, 81, of West Peoria died at 3:33 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, 1997, in the Methodist Medical Center emergency room.
Born June 7, 1916, in Smithville to Lewis and Carrie Brooks Beaty, he married Geneva Beatty on Feb. 18, 1939, in Missouri. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Bill of North Pekin and Dale of Jonesboro, Ga.; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Jean VanHook of Hot Springs Village, Ark. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann Owens, and two brothers.
He worked for Peoria School District 150 for 18 years, retiring in 1981. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Davison-Fulton Western Chapel. The Rev. Jack Thompson will officiate. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the chapel. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery near Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to the West Peoria Fire and Rescue Squad.
