Beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Stanley Cook Mann, seventy-nine years old, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at his home in South Jordan, Utah.

Stanley was born January 11, 1930 in West Bountiful, Utah. Son of George B. Mann and Nellie Cook.

Stan grew up on the family farm in West Bountiful, attended Davis High School. Stan served in the British Isles Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He married his high school sweetheart, Louise Sullivan, on May 29, 1952 in the Salt Lake Temple.

During his professional career he was Senior Executive with M & M Mars, Lanvin Charles of the Ritz, and Western Marketing Resources. During his lifetime, Stan lived in Walnut Creek, California, Northbrook, Illinois, Short Hills, New Jersey as well as several locations in Utah. He was an active member of the LDS Church and served in many Ward and Stake callings.

Preceded in death by his parents, nine brothers and sisters and son Randon. Survived by sweetheart Louise, sons Scott (Judy) Mann, Riverton, Utah, Brett (Diane) Mann, Micalle (Marty) Slack, Murray, Utah, eighteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren on the way.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, December 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the LDS Chapel, 10194 South 1050 West, South Jordan, UT. A viewing will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2009 from 6:00-8:00 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, and from 9:45-10:45 a.m. on Monday, December 21, 2009 at the Church.
Interment will be in the Bountiful Memorial Park.
