Glen Dale Coleman Sr.

MEMPHIS - Glen Dale Coleman Sr., 75, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998.


Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Church of Christ with Tom Anderson officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Memphis by Memphis Funeral Home.


Mr. Coleman was born in Seymore and was an Army veteran of World War II. In 1985, he retired after 37 years with GTE. He married Hazel Phillips Moore in 1969 at Memphis. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carla Jordan, in 1994.


Survivors include his wife; a son, Glen Dale Coleman Jr., of Memphis; three stepsons, Sonny Moore of Amarillo, Tommy Moore of Phoenix and Robert Moore of Panhandle; three daughters, Ann Sexton of Childress, Wanda Eastep of Amarillo and Janet Bridges of Memphis; four stepdaughters, Janie Welch and Linda Smith, both of Amarillo, Wanda Davis of Lubbock and Judy Clark of Wellington; 24 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.


The family will be at 118 S. 10th St., in Memphis. They suggest memorials be to a favorite charity.
