T.H. Grammer, familiarly known as "Ki" died Saturday at his home on South Missouri Street at 2 o'clock this morning after an illness of several days, although no time was his ailment considered fatal.

Several days ago, he was taken with an attack of malaria and associated with it was dysentery. He was up and around his home nearly every day and came down town several times. Yesterday evening he was in good spirits and chatted with his neighbors. Shortly before his wife noticed a change in his condition and send for Dr. Etherton, but after his arrival, Mr. Grammer had passed away. The immediate cause of death was heart failure. Mr. Grammer, at the time of his death, was 36 years of age.

He was the son of Emory Grammer and was born and reared in Jackson County. He secured his education in this city and, shortly after his marriage to Miss Etta Holder, moved to this city, where he has since resided. Two children have been born to the union, both girls, one dying a few months past and the other, about 3 years old, is still living.

Mr. Grammer has been the local representative of the Standard Oil Company in this city and vicinity for nine years. He has been a member of the Masonic fraternity for several years, joining in Makanda and, shortly after his removal to this city, changed his membership to Shekinak Lodge, No. 241, where he has kept his membership. On the reorganization of the Bonney Furniture Co., several years ago, Mr. Grammer became a partner.

The funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from his late residence, under the auspices of the Masonic fraternity, interment taking place in Oakland Cemetery.

Mr. Grammer was n energetic, progressive citizen, a lover of his home and a kind and affectionate husband and father. A host of friends, in which the Free Press joins, extends condolences to the widow and child in their great bereavement
