Bernardene V. Trout
Our beloved mother, Bernardene V. Trout went to her heavenly reward on April 11, 2005.
She was born to Frank and Margaret Sullivan on August 23, 1911.
Bernardene was very active in the Born Again Christian Organization, which included Aglow meetings and bible studies. She also was a member of St. Francis of Assisi for many years where she was a Eucharistic minister and lector.
Preceding Bernardene in death in August 1951 was Jacob C. Desch, father of their two children, George and Louise. Bernardene remarried in August 1954 to Milton G. Trout. He passed away in March 1993. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Marcella Hartwick and two brothers, George Sullivan and Thomas Sullivan.
Bernardene is survived by her children, Louise (Larry) Maass, George O. (Kitty) Desch, and one grandson, Linn Henry (Linda) Maass. She is also survived by eight brothers and sisters, Margarite Miller, Jim (Anna) Sullivan, Don (Ruth) Sullivan, Donna Marie Wagner, Mary Ann (Jim) Fabricious, all of Iowa. Marc (Lynn) Sullivan, and Jerry (Patti) Sullivan, of California, and John Sullivan, of Texas; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Cremation has been completed. Mass will be held at St. Frances of Assisi Church, Saturday, April 16, 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in Iowa at a later date.
