He became a Christian and was baptized at the age of twelve years by Rev. Dennison.
He was united in marriage to Velma Pearl Focht on September 7, 1939 in Pawnee. To this union were born two children, Wilber Kendall, age 7 and Brenda Kay, age 3.
He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, two children, parents, and grandmother of Stillwater; three brothers, Raymond Buntin, Okla. City; Forrest Buntin, Glencoe and Clarence Buntin, Stillwater; four sisters, Mrs. Lila Whitten, Mrs. Letha Reeder, and Sylvia Buntin all of Stillwater, and Mrs. Veda Ault, Evanston, Ill; other relatives and a host of friends. One sister, Lela Buntin, preceeded him in death.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge of Glencoe.
He was a kind and loving husband, father, son, brother and a true friend. To know him was to love him.
Services were conducted at the Methodist church in Glencoe, Sunday, March 7, 1948 with Rev. L.E. Hooper officiating. Interment was in the Glencoe I.O.O.F. cemetery.
