Mary Savage, 63, of West Dorrance Street, Kingston, died on Tuesday at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Township, following an illness. She was born in Huntington Mills, on December 10, 1945, and was a daughter of the late Sampson and Anna Stepanik Stephens. She attended Northwest Area Schools. Mary had resided in Kingston for the past 33 years. Previously, she had resided in Berwick. She had been employed by Associated Family Care, Kingston, and earlier, by Associated Internists, Kingston. She was a member of Town Hill United Methodist Church, Shickshinny. Surviving are her daughter, Cathy, and her husband, John Davies, Swoyersville; sisters, Margaretta, and her husband, Carl Hartman, Muhlenberg; and Catherine and her husband, John Titus, Shickshinny; nephew, John (Chubby) Titus, Shickshinny; and other nephews and nieces. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. from the Hugh B. Hughes & Son Inc. Funeral Home, 1044 Wyoming Ave., Forty Fort, with the Rev. M. Lynn Snyder, pastor to Shavertown United Methodist Church, officiating. The interment will be in Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville. Friends may call on Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
