My beloved sister, Mary, is now with the Lord. She was a wonderful sister and a spunky lady. I will miss her very much.

From our mother:

Dear Daughter, You have been with the Lord for almost three years and I still miss you every day. You will always be my little girl. I send you all my love forever. Love, Mom
MY LITTLE GIRL: Silky strands of stardust spun
Coronate my little one.
Big green eyes reflecting grace
Brighten up her tiny face.
Sun-kissed nose informs that I
Am baking her most-favored pie.
Soft, pink petals speak of love
For dad, mom, and HIM above.
Touch of velvet - gentle, light
Are her arms around me tight.
Every heart she's bound to win
When she sports that baby grin.
To give a treasure such as she
HE must think quite a lot of me.

DELHI TWP. - Mary Trame and Jim Stewart met as kids on Heavenly Lane. Now, her grave will be in a cemetery overlooking the place where they first met.
Stewart left the lane at the age of 15. Mary Trame stayed.
Years later, he came back to the Delhi Township street. He'd been
invited to a going-away party for Mary's big brother, Larry Trame. He
was leaving town to join the Navy. At the party, Stewart ran into Larry's kid sister. Mary had grown up. Stewart was smitten."She asked me out right at that party," Stewart recalled. "After our first date, I told my mom: 'I'm in trouble. I'm going to marry that girl.' " And he did. Jim and Mary Stewart's marriage lasted 21 years. She died Wednesday at the age of 43 after putting up what her husbandtermed "a heroic, eight-year battle" against breast cancer.
"That disease is a chameleon," Stewart said. "Just when you think
you've got it licked, it comes back someplace else."
After discovering she had a genetic predisposition for the disease,
the paralegal underwent a hysterectomy and a double mastectomy in
2001. "Her doctor told her she was cured. She did not have to worry
anymore about cancer," her husband said. Six months later, Mrs. Stewart complained of back pain. She went to her doctor. Tests showed cancer in her back. She underwent chemotherapy. The cancer went into remission. Then it appeared in her brain. Radiation treatment shrank the tumors. Then the disease came back.
"She faced that disease with an amazing amount of courage," noted
her boss, Mark Stall, general counsel at xpedx, the Loveland-based
division of International Paper.
"While she fought cancer," added Brian Cadwallader, the firm's associate general counsel and the man who hired Mrs. Stewart 18 years ago, "her positive nature never flagged. She never gave up. She was an inspiration."
The 5-foot, 2-inch, freckle-faced redhead was always the first one up every morning at her house. "I'd be in bed and not want to wake up because all I could think of was Mary's cancer," said her husband.
"Then I'd hear her in the kitchen getting breakfast ready and I'd tell myself: 'Stop feeling sorry for yourself you idiot and get up.' " While she made breakfast, Mrs. Stewart sang songs by her favorite bands, Genesis and the
Moody Blues, and John Denver. A favorite tune was "Annie's Song," Denver's love song to his wife. "When we were first married," Stewart recalled, "Mary would tell people I was her knight in shining armor, her hero. "After she got cancer and the way she fought it, our roles were reversed. Now, she's my hero."
In addition to her husband, Mary Stewart is survived by her step-daughter, Crystal Stewart, and step-grandchildren, Loch, Aurora and Liam Wilson, all of Price Hill; her mother, Janet Trame-McKinstry of Lawrenceburg; a sister, Carol Sanman of Green Township; and four brothers, Will Trame of Lawrenceburg, Michael Trame of Price Hill, Del Trame of Florence and Larry Trame of San Diego. She was preceded in death by her father, William Trame.
Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Neidhard-Minges Funeral Home, 3155 Harrison Ave.,
Westwood.
