W. C. 'CHAFFEE' PEEL, 88, of Arlington, retired employee of State of Tennessee and Bond Motor Co., died of cancer Saturday at his home. Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel with burial in Arlington Cemetery. He attended Arlington United Methodist Church. Mr. Peel, the husband of Martha Marie Peel, also leaves two sons, Dr. William C. Peel Jr. of El Dorado, Ark., and Robert B. Peel of Cordova; a sister, Katherine P. Wiseman of Memphis; a brother, Henry Lonzo Peel of Quito, Tenn., a grandchild and two stepgrandchildren. The family requests that any memorials be sent to United Methodist Church in Arlington.
