Willie Mae Blanchard, 88, of Mantachie, MS. formerly of Memphis passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2009, at her residence. She was a former member of Raleigh Church of Christ, current member of Mantachie Church of Christ. Her favorite pastime was watching her grandchildren play baseball and softball. Mrs. Blanchard is survived by her husband of 67 years, Roy Blanchard; daughter, Kathy McGee of Mantachie, MS; granddaughter and her husband, Lori and Robert Barber of Mantachie, MS; great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jordan, Justin and Lynsey Barber; brother and his wife, Gene and Jean Benson of Memphis. The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11a.m. Friday, December 18, 2009, at Memphis Funeral Home, Germantown Parkway Chapel.
