"Illness Takes Albert Couch"

"Albert Patterson Couch of 1402 East Alder died in a local hospital Thursday after an illness of six months."

"He was 60 years old having been born in Missouri, September 18, 1880. For the last seven years he was a resident of Walla Walla. Before moving here he lived for 10 years in Pomeroy and for a time at Wallula and Starbuck."

"Since 1917 he was a brakeman for the Union Pacific railroad."

"Couch was a member of the White Temple Baptist church and the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen."

"He leaves his wife Elizabeth B. Couch of Walla Walla, four children, Albert P. Couch, Jr., Lois Couch and William LuVern [sic], all of Walla Walla, and Mrs. J. W. Ince of Pasco; three brothers, P. A. Couch, C. A. Couch and William Couch, all of Chillicothe, Mo., and a sister, Mrs. Peter Woods of Kansas City, Mo."
