Rosa Lee Smith, of Eustace, was born Sept. 9, 1921, in Lone Oak, to the home of Albert and Hattie Pearl Hart Caldwell.
She passed away Dec. 14, 2009, in Athens.
On Sept. 19, 1942, she married her husband of 67 years, Aubrey Lavern Smith.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Aubrey; son, Ronnie Smith and his fiancée Valerie; daughters, Carolyn Sue Bowman; Peggy Hanyie; six grandchildren, Susan Carl; Hillary Rohds; Brook Bowman; Ryan Bowman; April Smith; William Smith; nine great-grandchildren; one brother, Dwayne Caldwell.
Rosa was preceded in death by a brother, Buddy Caldwell; sisters, Hallie Mae Boykin; Inez Akins; and her parents.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Athens under the direction of Moorhead-Epps Funeral of Gun Barrel City.
