Beulah Opal Poynter, 91, of Ona passed away December 1, 2009 at Hospice House of Huntington.

She was born July 26, 1918, a daughter of James and Victoria (Toney) Woodrum.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, Clarence L. Poynter. Survivors include one daughter Geraldine Elswick; two grandchildren George (Angela) Elswick, Mark McGee; and two great- grandchildren; Samantha and Capri Elswick.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday December 5, 2009 at Fellowship Baptist Church, Barboursville with Pastor Dr. Jerry Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at the church.
