John Viney married Mary C McGuire November 29,1879; they had six children Claud, Maude, Ethel (Carver), Omer, Roscoe, and Mrs. Roy Turley. They lived in Burlington, and then moved to Kokomo, IN; where John was a pension attorney for the civil war veterans (he himself was a civil war vet). He died august 15, 1916, and his wife Mary died in about 1927.
