Aged Widow is apoplexy victim. Mrs. C J. Conner dies at Brandon Street home Monday.

Mrs. Clara J Conner, age seventy-one, widow of Lewis Conner who died three years ago, passed away at the home of her son, Lacy Smith, 722 S. Brandon Street, Monday afternoon at 1:42 o'clock. She suffered a stoke of apoplexy Saturday.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. She was born in Tipton County February 10, 1854, but came to Howard county about 40 years ago.
She is survived by five children, William A Smith, garage owner on South Courtland Ave; Lora Smith, South Courtland Ave; Mrs. Elsie White, west of the city; Mrs. Frances Shuck, South Union Street; and Mrs. Jesse Wooley, South Market Street. There are twenty one grandchildren who also survive. She was a member of Courtland Ave. Friends Church.

Funeral services will be help Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Courtland Avenue Friends Church with the Rev. Mrs. Josephine Hockett in charge. Burial will follow in Crown Point Cemetery.
