CENTERVILLE--Dale Howard Smith left his earthly home October 31, 1995 in Centerville.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, March 3, 1919, son of Neslen H. and Lila H. Smith. He lived in Centerville all his life and loved it. He married Bessie Lucille Clark in the Salt Lake Temple. They owned and personally operated the Smith Cleaners in Centerville for 41 years. It was the first complete dry cleaners in South Davis County. He served his fellow men honestly and diligently in business. He served his church fully in many capacities. He was a wonderful companion, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Lucille, two daughters and husbands, Julia Anne and David Oldham, Mary Jane and Paul Pickett, 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 4, 1995 at 11:00 a.m. in the Centerville Third Ward Chapel, 900 South 400 East. Friends may call at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment - Centerville City Cemetery.
