------------

Louisa Elizabeth Simerl, daughter of Nathan and Malinda Walker Simerl, was born in Schuyler county, Mo., March 14, 1876, and departed this life April 4, 1939, at the age of 63 years and 20 days.

She was united in marriage to A. N. Seamster May 3, 1903. To this union three sons were born, the oldest dying in infancy.

In early life she gave her heart to God and became a member of the Fairview Christian church and later moved her membership to the Coffey Christian church, where she was a faithful attendant until failing health prevented.

Surviving are her devoted husband, two sons, Omar and Elliott of Downing, Mo., one grand son, one sister, Mrs. Emma Ruth of Chicago, Ill., two brothers, Charlie Simerl of Fowler, Kansas and John Simerl of Memphis, Mo., besides a host of relatives and friends. Her father, mother, one sister and one brother have preceded her in death.

To know Mrs. Seamster was to love her. She was always thoughtful of her family and neighbors and will be greatly missed from the community. Her christian life made her suffering easier and her life can rightly be used as an example for many. Our early loss is her heavenly gain.

Funeral services were held in Charity Baptist church Wednesday afternoon, conducted by the Rev. P. M. Lind of Queen City. Interment was in the Coffey cemetery.
