A memorial gathering for Debra Bachelder of Southeast Portland will be at 2 p.m.Sunday near the duck pond in Laurelhurst Park.
Miss Bachelder died Friday in a Portland hospital of complications arising from scleroderma. She was 33.
She was born Jan. 15 1958, in Portland. She was a 1976 graduate of Cleveland High School. Miss Bachelder held a number of secretarial positions and had worked for Gallagher Capitol Co. and a pair of local independent financial advisors.
She later owned and operated Vintage Dreams, a vintage clothing store in Southwest Portland. A watercolor artist, Miss Bachelder had gained recognition on the local level.
Survivors include Dexter Ledford of Portland; father, Delbert of Salem; mother Myrtle of Salem; sister, Kim of Salem; and her brothers , Kevin of Hillsboro and Kirk of Salem.
Disposition was by cremation.
