MRS. JOSEPHINE R. WHETZEL, 92, of RD 1 died yesterday at Grant Memorial Hospital, Petersburg, where she had been a patient several days.
Born in Mathias, she was a daughter of the late Branson and Lydia (Sherman) See, and was the widow of Levi P. Whetzel.
She was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, Fisher.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Harriet Myers, RD 1.
The body is at Chambers Funeral Home, where friends will be received after 7 p.m.
A service will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Garrett Chapel United Methodist Church, Mathias. Interment will be in Sherman Cemetery there. The body will be taken to the church tomorrow at 11 a.m.
The family suggests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
