Michael R. "Mike" Sabo was born in Massena, New York. He was proud of his Hungarian heritage. His father was Alexander Sabo and his mother was Veronica. He graduated with a B.S. in Economics and Corporate Finance from University of Pennsylvania in 1964, then attended the Wharton School of Finance in Philadelphia.

His began his career in New York City as a Securities Analyst for Empire Trust Co. He later worked on the Trans-Alaska Pipeline for 12 years as a General Foreman. In 1968 he started his first business, Sabo & Co..

A true patriot, he joined the National Guard and Air Force Reserves and the Army National Guard and Army Reserves. He was in the special forces and served in Iraq, Saudia Arabia and Honduras. He was proud of his military service.

He was an entrepreneur and businessman and was a creative and enthusiastic about his enterprises. He started Sabo Dermatalogica and created the "Milk Glow Soap" brand. He also opened a beautiful retail store called "Seattle Soapworks" in Jackson Square, Seattle.

He was generous to his friends and family and advised many people who were new at business on how to to succeed. He will be greatly missed by his family and numerous friends.

Mike died of a heart attack quietly at home during the night in his sleep.

Michael is survived by his brothers; Alex and David; nieces Claire, Tonia and Nicole and nephew Timothy, as well as three grand-nieces and one grand-nephew.
