Age 78, of Homer, passed away December 10, 2009 at his home. Keith was born July 24, 1931 in Sturgis, MI to August and Nettie (Holderman) Schlottman. He married Geraldine Collmenter on August 3, 1951; she survives. He worked for Walker Manufacturing in Grass Lake for 37 years. He also had worked for Clark Equipment, driving truck for Ivan Fast and Rodney Horton and farmed. Keith was a member of the UAW. Keith enjoyed reading, Morning Coffee Club, camping at Rice Lake and fixing things. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren. Survivors include: his wife Geraldine, daughters, Diane (Scott) Beebe of Homer, Kathy (Mike) Payne of Homer, and Linda (Kelly) Warner of Homer, son, Keith Douglas (Linda) Schlottman of Southfield, MI, and 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Mark, brother Melvin and 3 sisters, Ava, Helen and Virginia.
Graveside Service will be held in the Spring at Fairview Cemetery in Homer. Visitation will be from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Sunday, December 13, 2009 at J. Kevin Tidd Funeral Home, 811 Finley Drive, Albion. Memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Oaklawn.
