MRS. D. B. ADAMS DIES

Ruth Jenkins was born in Webster county, September 4, 1852, died Monday, August 11, 1929, at the home of her son, A. A. Adams in Ava.

She was united in marriage to D. B. Adams in 1872, and ten children were born to this union.

Five of the children survive her, A. A. Adams of Ava, J. Q. Adams of the Happy Home neighborhood, Mrs. Etcyl Hunt of Beggs, Okla., who were with her at her death, W. J. Adams of Pueblo, Colorado, and Mrs. Lee Marion Gordon of Los Angeles, California.

Mrs. Adams had been ill the past several months. Mrs. Etcyl Hunt had been in Ava the last few weeks with her mother. Mrs. Adams died peacefully, having expressed a desire to go and be with her Savior. She was ever a devoted mother and lover of the home.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 Monday afternoon at the Jenkins family cemetery, near Roy. Rev. H. I. Hart, pastor of the General Baptist church, conducted the services and interment followed immediately in the Jenkins cemetery.
