"Mrs. Hazel Elizabeth Stokes Wilson, age 90, a resident of Dierks, died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 at her home. She was born Friday, July 24, 1914 in Dierks. She was a member of the Dierks Assembly of God Church. Mrs. Wilson was preceded in death by her parents, Buck and Florence Greenhaw Stokes; her husband, William O. Wilson on March 16, 1979; a great-grand-daughter, Casey Chandler and three sisters, Robbie Nicholas, Denver Cornish and Dottie Bagley, and one brother, Harlon Stokes, all of Dierks. She is survived by four children, Herman Wilson and Marjorie Allen, both of Dierks, Bennie Lockwood of Clarksville, and Bonnie Glover of El Dorado; 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Olean Efird and two brothers, J. B. Stokes and Vernon Stokes, all of Dierks. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, July 30, in the First Assembly of God Church in Dierks with Bro. Henry Bateman officiating. Burial followed in the Fellowship Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in Dierks. The family recieved friends from 6-8 p.m., Thursday, July 29, qt the Chapel in Dierks."
