In the year 1879 she was united in marriage to George Harness of Richmond, Ill. To this union five children were born: Benjamin who died at the age of 17 months, Mina B. of this city, Frank Harness, Walworth, Wisconsin, and Bessie Elizabeth who died in 1904 at the age of 19 years in Saguache, Colo., Sarah B. Besides her children she leaves nine grand children and a brother, Adison Felter of Antioch, Illinois, 88 years of age [who] was able to attend [her] funeral which was held at Walworth, Wisconsin, January 8, 1936.
