Magdalena B. Baumann, "the third daughter of Levi Baumann, was born in the township of Woolwich, November 17th, 1848. On February 13th, 1872, she was married to Jacob G., son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Gingerich) Martin. He was born April 6th, 1838. They reside on part of lot No. 101, German Company's Tract, Woolwich Township, a little south of Floradale. Their family consisted of eight children"

On the 1st July there died a half mile south of here Magdalena Bauman, relict of the late Jacob Martin. The burial took place on the Mennonite graveyard north of here. Preacher Daniel Brubacher, from Ohio, who is at present visiting in these parts preached the funeral sermon, while preachers Jos. Gingrich and Abram Brubacher assisted in the service.
