Dorothy B. Phebus
Dorothy Bernice PHEBUS, 70, Rt. 3, Rochester, died unexpectedly at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at her residence.
She was born June 11, 1916 in El Paso, Ill., to Fred and Clara WADSWORTH BAILEY. She had lived in Rochester since 1920, coming here from LaCrosse. On Sept. 19, 1954 in Rochester she married John D. PHEBUS, who survives. She was a former employee of Topps Manufacturing and a member of the First Baptist Church, the Missionary Circle and the Mt. Zion Club.
Surviving with the husband are a daughter, Mrs. Michael K. (Sue Ann) FOLLER, kokomo; a grandson, Adam Michael FOLLER; a brother, Earl BAILEY, Rochester, and nieces and nephews. The parents and a brother, Lyle [BAILEY], preceded in death.
Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. Donald MAUGHAN officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. until services on Saturday. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church.
