ANNA ELIZABETH PRINCE--Anna E. Prince of 2004 Greenwood died at her home on Wednesday at the age of 79. Mrs. Prince was born on September 2, 1891 at Mound City, Illinois, the daughter of Francis and Mary Benton. She spent her childhood in Mound City. She came to La Grande 53 years ago from The Dalles, Oregon. Survivors include her husband, John Prince of La Grande; sons Harold Tingay, Seattle, Wash.; George Driskell, La Grande; and Arthur (Ted) Driskell, Marshalltown, Iowa; daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Opal) Graham, Eugene; Mrs. Henry (Mary) Conner, La Grande; Mrs. George (Lucille) Berry, Gresham, Ore.; brother, William Benton, Mound City, Ill.; 16 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Russell Driskell. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 2 P.M. at Daniels Valley Funeral Chapel with Rev. Paul Jewell officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery.--79 years, 4 months, 4 days."
