MARBLEHEAD - Mrs. Eva W. (Byors) Bernson, 84, died this morning in Lafayette Nursing Home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Albert T. Bernson.

Born in Salem [sic], she was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Mary (Brown) Byors. She attended Marblehead schools and the First Baptist Church.

She leaves a son, Frank Bernson of Nashua, N.H.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Marion Lockerbie of Marblehead and Mrs. Mildred Poole of Worcester; 8 grandchildren and 16 grandchildren.

Private graveside services will be held at Waterside Cemetery, following cremation at Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem.
