She was born Lila Minnie Belle Smith before adopted by the Bryant Family in Jacksonville, in 1928, and has an adopted sister, Joyce A. Partridge, from Miami.
She did accounting work for insurance companies and played the piano. She always worked two jobs and retired shortly before her death.
She is survived by daughter, Gloria-Rosita Elstan; 2 sons, John W. Elston Jr. and Edward F. Elstan; 2 granddaughters, Jeannie and Barbara Elston, all of Georgia.
Private services were held by Van Orsdel in charge of arrangements.
