Mr. Burdge was nearly 65 years of age and spent nearly his whole life in North Manchester.
He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jennie Stemm of Lafayette and Mrs. Etta Brown of North Manchester, and one brother, Jesse L. Burdge of Logansport. The burial was in Oaklawn cemetery.
Mrs. G. W. Case, Durham, N. C. is here on account of the death of her uncle, George Burdge. Mr. Case, who is dean of a college at that place, was unable to come for the funeral.
