Margaret Ellen Nicholson was born January 28, 1856; died June 19, 1915. She united with the M.E. church at Dolson in January, 1874. She was married to Oscar Phillips February 5, 1874 and to them five children were born. Left to mourn is the husband, the daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Edgell of Ohio, and Mrs. Alta Mullen and one son, Ira Phillips. Two daughters preceded her in death. She also leaves one sister, Mrs. Eliza Burnsides, two brothers, Joseph and David Nicholson, half sister, Mrs. Estella Beabout and many other relatives and friends. Through all her years of suffering she bore her affliction with Christian faith. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon.
