Lloyd Elfonzo Eaton, age 71, died in a Salt Lake hospital, January 24, 1991 of a heart attack.

Born January 20, 1919 in Vernal, a son of Marcus E. and Nellie Merle Fisher Eaton. Married Claudia Caldwell, June 18, 1941 in Prescott, Arizona. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, June 18, 1965. He was a former car dealer, and owner of Lloyd E. Eaton Insurance Agency. Active member LDS Church.

Survived by wife, Claudia, sons and daughter, Dennis L. Eaton, Cloyd E. Eaton, Sherryl Pyper, all Vernal; 11 grandchildren, one great-grandson, brother and sister, Veldon F. Eaton, Mrs. Bart (Norma) Baker, both Vernal.

Funeral services, Wednesday, 11 a.m. in the Vernal 1st Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Thompson's Vernal Mortuary, Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Burial, Vernal Memorial Park.
