Mrs. Emma Broehm (90) of 810 Memorial Drive, Chilton, formerly of Stockbridge passed away Saturday August 29, 1992 at Chilton Village Nursing Home after a brief illness.
She was born April 28, 1902 in High Cliff, Wisconsin. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Minnie (Keurer) Dunker. She was married to Harry Broehm on January 13, 1921 at their home in High Cliff. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1976. They farmed together for several years in Stockbridge and in the Greenville area.
Mrs. Broehm worked for 15 years at the Appleton Chair Factory until retiring in Stockbridge where she enjoyed making quilts and gardening. She is a member of United Methodist Church, Stockbridge; the Mission Society, the Greenville Homemakers, the Stockbridge Legion Auxiliary, and the Stockbridge Senior Citizens.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law; Dorothy (Herman) Hemauer, Chilton; Generose (Norman) Kiefer, Hwy. 55, Menasha; and Marian (Charles) Westenberger, Stockbridge; two sons and daughters-in-law; Clifford (Letha) Broehm, Stockbridge; Robert (Maryann) Broehm, Milwaukee. She is further survived by 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by two children, Willard and Lamina; two grandchildren.
Funeral services were at Wieting Funeral Home, Chilton with the Rev. Rich and Barb Doerer-Peacock of the United Methodist Church in Stockbridge officiating.
