Born March 23, 1925, in Franklin, she was the daughter of Alvin Earl and Winifred Deeter Wood.
She graduated in 1943 from Franklin High School.
She was married May 20, 1954, to Hilton Dale Albert, who preceded her in death on Oct. 21, 2006.
Mrs. Albert was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a great fan of all of Pittsburgh's sports teams, and she enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas Hilton Albert of Erie and Ronald Alvin Albert of Houston; a grandson, Scott Albert with the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Guam; and a granddaughter, Emily Albert, who is a junior at Mercyhurst College in Erie.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Brian Lee Albert.
Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St., Franklin.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev. Richard Harry, pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Franklin, officiating.
Interment will be in Lupher Chapel Cemetery.
The family suggests that donations be made to the local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
