Ephraim died at the age of four months and 26 days from inflammation of the brain. He was likely the son of Mary Clift (1815-1850) who was a plural wife of Theodore Turley (1801-1871). Theodore's own handwritten family record indicates that "Ephraim Turley" was born on 11 February 1845 and died on 6 July 1845.
