Leroy Schlink of Port Clinton, O., a former resident of Garrett, died Sunday evening at 6 o'clock, accomplishing his purpose to take his own life. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Schlink of Auburn.
The young man has been confined in Pool hospital for more than a week from the effects of nitric poisoning.
At the time Schink made an attempt to end his life, his wife was a patient at the Port Clinton hospital, following an operation. He had been discharged from his positron of teacher in the Port Clinton s:hools.
He and his family lived for a year in Garrett while he was employed by the Baltimore & Ohio. The funeral was held in Auburn Wednesday.
