Billy Hagood Baggett
FRISCO CITY -- Billy Hagood Baggett, a drywall contractor for residential and commercial construction, died Sunday at his home. He was 65. Baggett, a native of Conecuh County, was a resident of Frisco City. A veteran of the National Guard, he was a member of Oak Creek Holiness Church. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Wilson Baggett of Frisco City; three sons, David Keith Baggett Sr. of Castleberry, Stephen Scott Baggett and Billy Doyle Baggett, both of Frisco City; a daughter, Melissa Joiner of Frisco City; two brothers, Bobby Earl Baggett of Mexia and James Brannon Baggett of Canoe; two sisters, Mary Lou Jernigan of Brewton and Dorothy Dalton Smith of McKenzie; and 10 grandchildren. The service is set for 2 p.m. today at Oak Grove Holiness Church in the Sandcut community near Castleberry with burial in Cedar Creek Cemetery in the Cedar Creek community, also near Castleberry. Monroe Chapel Funeral Home in Monroeville is handling arrangements.
