Mrs. DeRossett dies in Herrin [Williamson County, Illinois]
Mrs. Mary Ann DeRossett, 48, 541 N. 14th St., Herrin, died at 2:15 p.m. Sunday in Herrin Hospital. The daughter of Lon and Rose Wallace Trail, she was born April 10, 1912 in Petros, Tenn. [She married James Christin DeRossett about 1934; they had one daughter, Nannette DeRossett Sharrai, and later divorced.]
She leaves her mother, Mrs. Rose Blount of West Virginia; sister Mrs. Lorraine Bennett of Lafayette, Ind., brothers, George and Frank Trail, both of Petros, Lonnie Trail of Blountville, Tenn., and Grady Trail of Harriman, Tenn.
The body will be taken from the Johnson Funeral Home in Herrin to the Sharp Funeral Home at Oliver Springs, Tenn., where funeral services will be Wednesday. Burial will be in Petros Cemetery.
