Daughter of Bishop Michael K. & Barbara (Ruby) Yantzi. Wife of Joseph B. Schwartzentruber.

Gospel Herald - March 8, 1960 - Vol. LIII, No.10 - page 222,223,224 Schwartzentruber, Barbara, daughter of Michael and Barbara (Ruby) Jantzi, was born March 31, 1884, at Tavistock, Ont.; died Nov. 26, 1959, at St Mary's Hospital, Kitchener, Ont.; aged 75 y. 7 m. 26 d. She was married on Jan. 3, 1918, to Joseph B. Schwartzentruber, who survives. Also surviving are 4 sons and one daughter (Lester and Omar, Petersburg, Ont.; Lloyd and Ray, Waterloo; and Edith--Mrs. Melvin Erb, Petersburg), 10 grandchildren, 3 brothers (Jacob and Christ, Tavistock; and Noah, Shakespeare), and 3 sisters (Mrs. Solomon Streicher and Mrs. Menno Ropp, Tavistock; and Mrs. David Brenneman, Hickson). She was a member of the St. Agatha A. M. Church, where memorial services were held Nov. 29, in charge of Orland Gingerich and Peter Nafziger.
